Avoid the Flu This Season- Greg Lindberg Can Tell You How To Prevent It

First and foremost, although there are some misconceptions about the flu shot, Greg Lindberg, CEO, says it’s a good idea to get one.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends those over the age of six months receive a flu shot every year to minimize risk.  Those who tend not to get sick frequently can still spread the virus to others.

In addition, avoiding close contact with anyone who is sick is important, Greg Lindberg states.  In some circumstances it is a good idea to carry a medical mask in case there are sick people around.

Also, Greg Lindberg suggests washing your hands often protects hands from germs.  Avoid touching areas of your body since germs are often introduced that way.

Finally, living healthy is your best defense, suggests Greg Lindberg.  Avoiding smoking or drinking alcohol, exercising, and getting enough sleep will help maintain the immune system.  If sickness takes over after all, Greg Lindberg pleads to stay home and get better.
